Policy Summary/Purpose:
The purpose of this policy is to detail the types of digital information that
the University of Mississippi collects on web servers and third-party
partners as well as the standards by which the university retains and
disposes of that information. This policy also includes a privacy
notice as required under the European Union’s General Data Protection
Regulation (“GDPR”) by establishing standards and details the
compliance efforts to secure personal data of web users on
university websites.
